Another Wednesday...

And it is time to catch everyone up on our adventures! Let me think back - you will be getting the "abridged" version of our lives for the next few days. I am writing this a bit over a week out and am trying to remember what we accomplished.

This day brought a flurry of activity. Laundry got done, house got cleaned, clothes got packed, school lessons got done and school got packed. That is right! We packed school up again and drove to Richmond, VA to spend a few days with Mom. Mom is in Richmond for a few days to attend a National Convention with the Embroidery Guild of America or EGA. These meetings are full of friends, beautiful needlework, learning and fun. And as Caity will point out for you - a hotel with a pool!

Of course, we did our lessons for the day first - so analogies were made, test preparations were made, regrouping twice was done for subtraction, a draft of a friendly letter was written and a blueprint for a dome was made! Brunelleschi would be proud. Leave it to Caitlin to think a bit out of the box - her blueprint is of 3 inverted hearts that make up the top of the dome. The dip in the hearts (normally at the top - but at the bottom in this design) will allow the wind to pass through the dome and let in light. It is an interesting idea - but I know you can figure out what is next...that is right...the building of the blueprint! Hmmmmm....

Next stop - Richmond. Should only be a 90 minute drive from our house - gotta love it!
